I'd tend to just stay away from the upgrades.īeyond that Visual Basic 6 Standard/Academic/Professional, or Visual Studio 6 Standard/Academic/Professional should get you down the road. I'm not sure if your VB3 disks would qualify for upgrading or not. Hmmm, I guess another "gotcha" are the upgrades. In other words, you're sort of stuck executing your code in the IDE. There's a bit of debate about this, but it's my understanding that you can't make full-blown executables with the Learning Edition.
